The Gralloch is a true gravel classic.

The jam-packed three day event programme features the UK's original UCI Gravel World Series race (on Saturday) and a non-competitive Sportive (on Sunday). The UCI race sees the world's best gravel racers battle it out in the Elite category and thousands of incredible amateur racers taking on the age-group competition to secure one of the coveted qualification spots for the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships. The Sportive is a fun and non-competitive ride that invites cyclists of all levels to explore the stunning landscapes of the Galloway Forest Park at their own pace.

The Gralloch is much more than just a race, the weekend features shakeout rides, live music, food, drink, camping, kids activities and a vibrant Event Village providing the home for an incredible community of riders and supporters.

Based in Scotland’s South-West, The Gralloch starts and finishes in the small town of Gatehouse of Fleet, in Dumfries and Galloway, the heart of one of Scotland’s most beautiful areas. To the south is the picturesque coast of the Solway Firth, and to the north are the Galloway Hills. It is in these hills the racing takes place.

The area is part of both the Galloway Forest Park and the internationally recognised Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere. So unspoilt and unpopulated is the area that in 2009 it was designated as one of the first ever Dark Sky Parks, the first in the UK.
